Hi there!
I'm Emily Lau, an experiential and visual designer studying Design at Carnegie Mellon University, with minors in Human-Computer Interaction and Physical Computing.
I create playful, interactive experiences that blend the virtual and physical. I’m drawn to designs that feels intuitive in the moment and leaves a lasting impression. My work often moves between spatial storytelling, branding, and hardware prototyping. From early sketches to full-scale builds, I care deeply about the transitions between interactions and how narrative shapes the way people feel in a space or with a product. I am currently interested in immersive environments and branding that extends across both digital and physical touchpoints.

When I am not designing, I'm probably learning a new dance choreo, walking around with my camera, or planning my next travel destination.
